In collaboration with Fotografiska and Stockholm Public Library, 300 children were given cameras and asked to photograph the subject of their choice. The project aims to encourage children to use photography as a means of storytelling, and to expose them to alternative modes of communication. Thus the camera becomes an additional tool in which to explore the world. Children see the world differently than adults. They have a distinct perspective, like an artist, as they are not bound by convention.
The children in this project are between the ages of one and six, and are from various parts of Stockholm. Each child has taken the photographs while at preschool.
